Therapy offer

As a licensed psychological psychotherapist I treat a wide range of psychological disorders. These can manifest themselves, for example, in the form of anxiety disorders, depression, sleep disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, burnout or psychosomatic complaints. For the patients, they may result in relationship problems, difficulties in their jobs, or a loss of quality of life, among other consequences.

The treatment method used in my practice is behavioral therapy. Behavioral therapy is a therapy method recognized by the statutory health insurance. My treatment is available to adults with both statutory as well as private health insurance.

Based on my work experience and additional qualification in child and adolescent psychotherapy, I am happy to support especially young adults and patients at the verge of youth and adulthood.

Behavioral therapy as a method of treatment

The goal of behavioral therapy is to understand the origins of individual psychological complaints and to find ways to improve them. The focus is on developing effective strategies that you can integrate into your everyday life.

The appropriate starting points can vary greatly from person to person. For example, it can be helpful to address experiences from childhood, adolescence and adulthood that have significantly shaped the patient’s self-image, expectations of relationships and attitudes toward life. Or the focus can be on strengthening and expanding competencies in dealing with current stresses.

Course of the therapy

As a therapist, I use my expertise to work out suitable starting points for the therapy together with you. In a close exchange, we talk about your experiences when implementing strategies from the therapy sessions in your everyday life.
The sessions take place as individual consultations. Video consultations are possible within the legally prescribed framework. If necessary, I offer exposure treatments outside the practice rooms, for example for phobias.
